La ciudad de Lima, conocida como la Ciudad de los Reyes, celebra este sábado 18 de enero sus 490 aniversario. Reconocida en 1535 por Francisco Pizarro, la capital del Perú se viste de fiesta con una programación cultural y artística para honrar su historia y diversidad.
Lima con mas de 10 millones de habitantes, recibe su cumpleaños con el regreso de la escultura de Francisco Pizarro , fundador de la ciudad, al centro de Lima , en el pasaje Santa Rosa, cerca de la piedra de Gonzálo Taulichusco, el último gobernante de esa pre conquista, que simboliza nuestros ancestos, en una unión de dos mundos que forman parte del mestizaje peruano.
Los limeños le desean lo mejor a esta Lima que genera el 44 % de todo lo que se produce en el país.

The city of Lima, known as the City of Kings, celebrates its 490th anniversary this Saturday, January 18. Recognized in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro, the capital of Peru dresses up for a party with a cultural and artistic program to honor its history and diversity.
Lima, with more than 10 million inhabitants, receives its birthday with the return of the sculpture of Francisco Pizarro, founder of the city, to the center of Lima, in the Santa Rosa passage, near the stone of Gonzalo Taulichusco, the last ruler of that pre-conquest, which symbolizes our ancestors, in a union of two worlds that are part of the Peruvian mestizaje.
The people of Lima wish the best to this Lima that generates 44% of everything that is produced in the country.
