I used them on my car for ceramic coating removal and my cars paint soft and didn't notice any scratches or marring

Another great review Jon, I use these towels the same way as you, ok for general work but I use premium cloths for paintwork.

I do have a pack of these myself and have to agree with you’ve said. They do stiffen up quickly (usually 2 washes) and I find they get saturated fat too quickly too. I’m looking for some different cloths for glass & paint and will keep my Kirkland’s for door shuts etc.

I use these as my general purpose towels for my detailing, and the one thing that I found with these, are that the colour runs in the wash. I misplaced my white hexlogic pad, and later found it, tucked in with the towels, in the wash. The pad is now off white. But, that is a lesson learnt, and a new pad was bought. Otherwise, I think they're pretty good. I use them around the house too for the windows etc.

I am with you I hate to throw a towel but like you say For about 50 cents U.S. I have more expensive towels to that I use on my nice vehicles! I think a lot has to do with the care of the towels I will always wash these first as new as you know.. use them once on paint or finish then they will be relegated to dirtier jobs inside door panels wheel wells and such!

I never use these twice, once used I them transfer them in to the ‘buggered’ box where I use them for engine bay or cleaning up crap then they are binned.

These Kirkland Towles are not the same as they was 4 years ago, I bought 2 packets way back when & again a few weeks back & they are not the same quality, that said its all relative they are so cheap compared to " branded " towels at the price of one V a whole packet, tge finer side is way better for cleaning glass, im still happy to use them, maybe because we've become a throw away society who knows !

Top video, Costco used to sell the Eurow cloths in packs 36, IMO they were better, but I use these cheaper cloths for glass and interior cleaning, door shuts, engine bay etc

Great review mate. Glad to see it's exactly the same as I found them. Sometimes they leave a lot of bIts behind too so I find doing a bulk wash on them prevents that. Keep up the great stuff mate 👍🏻

Screw fix do a pack of 50 for £20. Now that's cheap and they're decent enough.
