Walking in the light means walking in God's truth...believing the jesus saved us from the wrath of god thats to come..once youv been saved You re saved 4 ever..but there is a daily need to express displeasure with the sins we comment daily an ask the lord to forgive us of repetitive sins an help us to keep our trust in him ...

Fellowship IS not the same as relationship. We are children of god trough faith, but fellowship is the will of god for us, that we should search without falseness. I see the epistle as a explanation therefore and for assurance.


That you MAY have fellowship with us and him. And these things he has written, that their "joy may be full."
He spoke to Brothers, Believers, saved people!

It's basically Mindfullness. To watch our hearts for thoughts of Greed, Anger, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Laziness and PRIDE. When we are mindful that these thoughts are of the DARK we turn away and focus back on Truth and Light. So, these are Universal Concepts and are the Truth in all Real Spiritual Practices.
