Robotics Challenge 2018

A quick look at our first Robotics Challenge!

Congratulations to IMEE students Henry, Jonny and Luke who won the competition in a time of 11 seconds. The team built and programmed their robot using Arduino software and the C++ language. 5 infrared sensors help the robot to follow the black circuit track. The team’s coding changed the sensitivity of the sensors to ensure accuracy AND speed! This included 3 additional motor speeds, two of which were reverse speeds, so the robot can turn more quickly than its competitors.
