When people think about models, everyone tends to think of HIGH FASHION MODELS we see on the runway of in fashion magazines such as Vogue. However, there are many different types of modeling that are less popular but still lucrative for aspiring models. In this video, Francis Polo breaks down the 13 main categories of modeling from High Fashion, Hand Modeling, Fitness Modeling, Commercial Print, Lifestyle Modeling, and more.

From the categories mentioned in this video Fashion Models in Runway and Editorials are the models who make the most money in the industry. This comes as no surprise given the strict requirements to being a high fashion model. For women, the height requirement is usually 5'9 - 5'11, and for men it is 5'11 - 6'3. There are other requirements as well such as having a particular measurement, high cheek bones, and more.

Absolutely high fashioned model.. Runways are the best.. Simply because there's no fake smiling or anything like that. You go on stage with your mean mugg just like that!.. I love it and i'm willing to get more opportunities in that category. 😊

The videos are great, they really help man, a friendly tip though: keep the intro shorter 22 seconds is way too much it should usually take around 5 seconds.

I didn’t know that fit wasn’t fitness. That’s the only thing I never knew on here. I’m interested in all of them besides plus and mature lol. I’m short but would love to do runway

I know I can’t do runway modeling because I’m 5’8 and 28 years old. But I always felt like I had a better chance in commercial print. Thanks for this video it was really informative and helped me understand the different categories.

I’m 5”5 and my family would always tell me how tall I was so I grew up thinking I was a giant but seeing the average requirement height for models, I guess I was wrong 😳 i hope it won’t be much of a problem ughh

"Lifestyle models look approachable" so not me 😂. I have the resting face of a runway model. And oh god catalog models, I hate trying on clothes so I wouldnt be able to do 8 hours of putting and taking off clothes.
