I heard you all were waiting for this remix, so here you go! *flings breadsticks at you from across the table* Gaster's theme was literally an 8 measure long repeating piano melody, so there was a lot of room for creativity. There was also the problem of, "How do I turn a 15 second theme into a 4 minute remix," but here it is. It's magic, I tell you OvO

Gaster is one of if not the best 'hidden layer of secrets' type character,
The sheer amount of Easter eggs you can link to him and that fact that we know so much yet so little about him through so may rare or normal outright unobtainable things(Entry 17 for example) is fascinating, and him having multiple hints of connections to already mysterious characters in game is genius

the fandom basically created an entire amazing lore for this guy just from one simple pixel design and some hints to a "forgotten scientist" in the game and i love it

I think there are 3 types of Fan art/interpretations of Gaster.
1. Cold calculating and methodical scientist, and an incredibly shitty parent, who fell into the void thanks to his own folly, doing whatever it takes, no matter how morally wrong it may be, to escape the endless void.
2. Tragic and somber ghost skeleton who is resigned to his fate to forever walk the world as less than a memory, watching his family and their friends go through all manners of adventures and timelines while being there, and not being there. Also usually tries to communicate with Frisk, and depending on the success of that, has a chance to return.
3. Tall genius skele-man who's a huge dork but also an amazingly good father and gentleman.

I remember when I was super obsessed over Undertale. When I learned about Gaster, I couldn't sleep because of how unsettling his sprites were (especially the one when you touch him and he disappeared) and I couldn't even look at those sprites without getting goosebumps. Later on, when I was less scared of him, he became my favorite character. I looked for everything about him and I came across an animation that had this song in it. I remember how much I loved this song and how I constantly listened to it.
Now I managed to get back into my Undertale phase but atleast not as strongly as before. It's pretty embarrassing to remember how I showed a few friends about Gaster and some of the drawings I made of him (thankfully they don't remember), but I guess it's kinda cool that I have a friend who liked Undertale who was able to talk to me about all that stuff and how I was able to have a good bond with him.

Not sure if this is intentional, but if it is, it's brilliant. It sounds to me like this song uses not only the melody of _Gaster's Theme, _ but also what sounds like that of the other three songs from the sound test room where it can be heard, _Trouble Dingle, _ _Happy Town, _ and _Meat Factory._
