I'm with Doogs.
The first two Child's Play movies were terrifying as a kid.
The thought that your toy collection could come alive and do bad things to people you loved, then try to voodoo possess you was a mind-break.
I am 45 now and it still irrationally messes with my brain in the dark... he's still my boogie man - Even though I can watch those movies and eye roll or laugh at them now.

Same, Dodger. My only exposure to Chucky was a clip from Bride of Chucky on an episode of Mythbusters where he was throwing a bunch of electrical things into a bathtub to unalive his girlfriend and I was like...."Yeah, I'm done! Get that thing off my screen!"

i used to love the lore of magic back when it was weird and new but now its just branded worlds or pseudo branded characters to pull in other fans

The new 'branded' Magic cards are a hit and miss for me. Some of them are cool, but it kind of ruined the more... established vibes the game used to have. Kind of like an old-school Unhinged every day.

Chucky was always neat, though, as far as horror movies go. And I mean... was *any* classic horror movie "well-put together" early on in the franchise? Not arguing that (Chucky was pretty jank thanks to relying on old school practical effects and early CGI stuff for later movies more then others), just what I thought about. But then, my bar for "bad" is Halloween II and it's hard to be worse then that without Troma being involved.

Chucky scared me so bad as a kid i put all my porcelain dolls in my moms room. I figured she'd be able to fight them off better than me. Seeing it now, it's just bad, not really scary.

Brand deal based magic cards might be the worst thing they've done to date... Although at this point the list of ways they've ruined mtg is so long I'm suprised anyone even pays attention to it anymore...

Every time a Secret Lair shows up I wonder if I should break the bank on it so in a year+ when the set is long done and the cards are only appreciating in value since they'll never reprint them again.

They just did bloomburrow which was 10/10 cute and fun. I know it's Halloween but the horror set follow up is kinda a momentum killer for me. Just not interested and kinda put off.

Chucky is far and away the best slasher franchise seriously love the movies and the TV series all of em are masterpieces except child's play 3 but that film still has its charm.

I signed up for announcements when secret lair cards go on sale but I've never received any and I like those slimer cards but can't see them on the site. What am I doing wrong? Already missed out on a grip I would have kept sealed.

Great wizards of the Coast is fucking up other beloved franchises with their garbage because that's all modern wizards of the Coast is is garbage once they got rid of the people who actually made it for the fans and it's now just the corporate CEOs running everything and making every decision it has gone downhill it has become garbage absolutely trash
