For those wondering how the coloring book works, he placed his finger at the top, then middle, then bottom. The pages have creases so that, depending on where your finger is, it flips to different pages.

For anybody wondering how the rope trick works, the rope bends in to a compartment while two already cut pieces of rope slide into view making the illusion that the rope is cut. That's why he never showed the side view of the gimmick

Here’s the explanation, the rope has a little magnet in both sides so when you move the thingy it chops in half and when you put it back it goes back into a rope shape

First trick is absolutely fantastic. When done right that is.

Magic is not about the device as it is more about the how you bring the trick.

Might I suggest to use a deck of cards with it. Have one card selected and signed. Loose the card in the deck. Show the top card is the 6 of harts. Put the “six of harts” in the sleeve and magically make it change into the signed card. When you do it that way the audience will be blown away for sure.
