At the end he literally didn't deserve her
He literally didn't care about her before the divorce and cared much for his ex girlfriend that too in front of her sometimes.
I didn't like the ending she was so kind she deserved much better than him for her.
He even believed his ex more than her that's not how love works if you love someone you should believe them first (as his wife was telling the truth)
So I just hated him.
