There was one point where every sentence introduced some crazy awesome futuristic scifi idea that I had no idea what was going on but it kept jamming more into my brain anyway. By the last page I finally got it kind of and was happy that I had made it through. Thinking about it afterwards I'm starting to piece together just exactly what I read. Lol...I think I like it? I'm gonna have to read on to find out. I went and got Pushing Ice and House of Suns too. Great review, captured mostly my same thoughts. Cheers.

I tried so hard to read this book. I fall asleep after around 30 pages every time.

Definitely keep reading the series. Redemption Ark was my favorite. Has many intense moments that felt a little like Mad Max Fury Road in outer space. Looking forward to the next review.

I'm a bit behind on the read-along. I just started Revelation Space. I was worried that I would get it mixed up with Jack Campbell's Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier read-along that Rajathon/Geek on my Sleeve has going. But after starting Reynolds I can tell that won't be the case. Unless kamikaze cow aliens show up. Lol.

Hrm, the purpose withholding of information to create mystery often tends to bug me, but I it *can* be pulled off well. Might have to give this one a read!
