I bought a few tyre glyders about a year ago. After years of intermittently wrestling to get marathon plus tyres off and on my old Dawes Galaxy, the reviews seemed too good to be true. Today, I broke a spoke, and got to use the glyder for the first time. At first I tried to guess how to use it, then I watched the video. Wow! Pop off and roll right on. As advertised. Worked great - been a bunch of glass on the cycle path and I’ve picked up three punctures in the last fortnight and then lost my tyre levers. Got a new Park Tool set and a Tyre Glider as a replacement and it worked like a dream

You went slowly (as you should have), which made use of the Tyre Glider seem more involved than it really is. Once you've used it a few times it's ridiculously simple and quick. I highly recommend it.

I ride Vittoria tubeless with DT Swiss wheels, and these are a nightmare to fit. Especially when using the foam inserts. You saved me a lot of grief with the Tyre Glider. I wish you great success!

Just picked one up. Had a quick practice before I take it out with me on rides. Took my Continental GP 5000 off on and on twice, I have to say I thought this would be a bit of a gimmick, but hands up, it worked brilliant, so easy. I'm very impressed.

Thanks for the video I’m in Australia and have recently received your item have bought new 27 x 2.50 Maxxis tyres and waiting for my old tyres to ware down a little bit more before changing them (only because of cost of living) will watch this video again once I’m ready to change them Big thanks from me in OZ.

Just bought one of these. Easy to get a Vittoria Corsa Graphene 2.0 tyre OFF (wire bead, tan walls, tube required), but found it impossible to get the last bit of the wire bead back on! I'd need steel thumbs. Bit disappointed. I'll still be carrying tyre levers.

After snapping the ends off 2 x park tools tyre levers trying to get my gator skins on my deep carbon rim I looked for other options.

Was a bit reluctant to spend £13 on a small piece of plastic but it’s 100% worth it. Genuinely is as easy as the video. And I’ve spent 45 mins in the cold trying to get tyres back on the rim before.

This thing punctured/tore three tubes on me (one big tear and two slow/overnight leaks). The tires were very tight-fit (conti 5000), but still. Tried with the tube flat, and with the tube partially inflated. Ended up going back to using a pair of plastic levers. :shrug:

just used it on some new tyres (gp5000) and tubes. its ripped two tubes getting the last part onto the rim.

Wonderful tool! The instructions here are very helpful. I got the red one on amazon, but noticed the blue "rehook" tire glider. Are they the same thing?

Woman with tiny hands and weak thumbs here. This is the main reason I ride on Schwalbe! But I'm not physically capable of just "holding the tyre down with my left thumb' to get started. Any suggestions please?
