Only Fools and Horses - Russell Harty (Rare 1983 Sketch)

The 1983 sketch is done ad-hoc with a live audience. They are bouncing around a few ideas rather than a complete script, so it's quite natural. Though you can hear some comedy lines from previous series episodes every so often.

This was part of the Russell Harty's 1983 Christmas special. This is superb footage of a rare moment with our favourite family, the Trotters. This sketch is featuring Del, Rodney and Grandad and they are rather poor and in need of an evening out. But Del has other plans.

Russell Harty was so patronising and snobby. You could tell he was uncomfortable participating in this situation. He would have considered OFAH to be cheap and popular entertainment. Hartys' star quickly faded shortly after this while OFAH went through the stratosphere in the next six years.
