The beautiful young Muslim girl has melted my heart, I was weeping and weeping! Such a sweet girl, with incredible talent, her voice the way she plays piano, she owned it, tearing down cultural religious barriers with her humble heart her gentle spirit, I am a Christian myself, and also a singer songwriter. I worked in the music industry when I was very young playing session bass guitar. I had the privilege of working alongside some incredible people, but I have never seen or heard anything like this. I hope she is successful in her singing career, that she will have the right people around her who will help her on her journey. I cried when Simon went up, and the second song oh wow! Unbelievable voice! So heart felt. It's wonderful her parents are so supportive and are encouraging their daughter. I haven't watched the rest but they have all been outstanding so far, particularly the girl group, they were so sweet, then their performance brought the house down! I was always extremely nervous on tour before I went on stage or for TV appearances even though the bands I played with we were miming along to the track on live TV, I still got nervous, the nerves made me go to the toilet constantly I would be running or clicking along in a panic to the dressing room, to the toilet 5 minutes before we were due on stage then panic stations to get back on time! But the minuet the lights went down and the tour manager and the crew ushered us up onto the stage with torches, excitement hit me and the fear went, I was buzzing! I lived for the moment to perform. I think nerves are a good thing. It means we care about what we do, it keeps us grounded, humble, and real. I was always very shy by nature and nervous, I myself was bullied all through school, but when I began to work as a professional bass guitarist shortly after I left high school, people changed, it was weird having people say the saw me on telly, it was strange, because I grew up on a small island. I was only 17-I am 52 years old now. I am now very sick and wheelchair bound. I am in the process of recording my own music. But struggling a bit. But this show has been so inspirational. It is so incredible seeing and hearing such talent. i am now addicted to this 😻❤
