Good morning 🌅, FRWw, very nice work shop, I have been working for myself for nearly 50 years, i’m now retired from UK but living in France, I still have quite a bit of my tools and machinery, over the last 10 to 15 years I have been doing especially stores and windows for property renovations and barn conversions, I have made quite a few chairs, tables, bookcases et cetera over the years, at one point I was even doing some contract work for a organ building company, making wooden pipes, I hope you’re still working, and keeping busy, Fr,

Thanks for your time and video telling about your careers. I was in printing for 50 years and woodworking for the last 10; furniture, custom boxes all using machines I purchased new. I hand brush the finishes with no spray equipment. Seeing your later spray equipment gives me some future ideas. The pandemic reduced my work dramatically. Living in Chicago burbs and going to WI allows me to buy a nice selection of mill wood. I have the Felder boring machine for my mortise and tenon work. Felder pretty much told me they did not want to sell me the Hammer line.?
I have most machines with 3 phase digital power. I purchased a smaller membrane press and find it expensive but versatile. Good luck

Happy New Year! I hope to visit your shop this year. For a channel name I like French River Woodworks as it's not too far from your original name. Or something along the lines of Made in the North or Northern Maker as you have shown videos about moose, your pond, etc. Whatever you re brand to, I will keep watching.

You have a Happy New Year Gilbert....that was a very complete tour of your shop....Makes me think that maybe I can do one in my garage....that would be a big joke for sure....for the name....I think you can change it to French River Woodwork and later on when you retire. you just change it again....well done...Just by the way....did you get a truck with the same emblem to match your hat....CHEERS

Wow! Great workshop! It gives me lots of ideas to better organize mine! As for the Drum Sander, I would add an extension on the left to allow maximum stability.
