9 out of 10 Land Rovers ever produced are still on the road....the other one actually made it home...

The problem is with all these car companies is they focus too much on the fancy technology they put in these vehicles rather than quality control. Hopefully it is just a case of them getting a bad batch of valves.

Been building motor vehicles for a century, amazing that with the increased knowledge/technology this company can't do it anymore.

As much as I love the styling of the new Bronco and would love to have one, I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy any vehicle the first year it comes out. Too many examples have proved to me that doing this is just asking for something such as this to happen. I'll wait to the manufacturer have ironed out the problems.

The last time my 4Runner had a "major problem" was when there was a screw in the tire and it was flat.😁

I wish my dad was around, he was a talented mechanic, he would have enjoyed your videos.

My understanding is that ford outsourced some valves to a third party vendor and they had a casting issue and the valves blew up. Like scotty says trying to make things cheaper for more profit sometimes backfires spectacularly. I would like to know how much ford is spending to fix each engine.

The older stuff was built simple with quality. Im still driveing vehicles from the 90s...Works for me👍

If you want a Ford Bronco get the older ones from the 1980's and 90's with the big naturally aspirated V8 that can take a beating all day.

After a year and 1/2 wait the customer gets a postcard that says Oh, by the way, we need to rebuild the top 1/3 of your brand new but under warranty engine. What would you like for a loaner car ? Have you got a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord around ?

Companies are most definitely cutting corners to keep their margins during this time of supply chain issues. I would avoid a 2021 and forward for the next few years.

“Rev up you engines! Unless it’s one of these new Ecoboost V6s, in which case look out!”

Ive worked in the car industry for 30 years and at times it amazes me when I see corners cut to save money. This is what happens when the people that control the budgets get involved and get a bonus when they come under the projected budget.

Land Rover is so economical since they do not work half of the time, love that Scotty

This is why you never buy a first model year. Even though it could be just a bad batch.

My God. You killed me with the" land rovers are more ecological because half the time they don't run." You my good sir, are a master of wit

As someone who owned a Fusion Sport with that same 2.7l…. It’s a constant worry that the engine would not be long for this world

This is usually the result of Purchasing decisions made after final engineering. I was working for Nissan in 2006 when they had to preemptively replace over 35, 000 V6 Altimas from piston ring failures. The 2.7 EcoBoost is a proven engine. The story with the bad batch of parts is likely true. And carmakers have relied on suppliers for their entire existence.

Buy it for $25k over MSRP and get shafted when you trade it in for being a lemon😂😂👍🏻
