Su-35 High Alpha Power!! ✈️ HD 60fps

Показать описание
Didn't have any clouds this day but the weather was pretty calm so I took the opportunity to practice low and slow crazy high-alpha!
High alpha at this altitude is SCARY! :o
Flights 278th to 281st on Lyuda.
Su-35 pilot: Airguardian
Ground video: Luis Ibáñez
Airfield: Club Aeromodelisme Els Cards
At this point I had already made about 110 cycles with my Turnigy Panther Graphene Li-Pos from Hobbyking (6S 5000mAh), and they are still killing it, keeping IR super low and delivering good power on all my jets. I had a few excesses with some of them and even though getting discharged down to 3.3V/cell a few times, they coped with it without getting killed or puffed... How's that for a change in Li-Po performance and reliability? :D
A couple of cells in two separate packs of the 6 I have are starting to show signs of degradation now, but at 110 cycles, and considering the abuse I put them through, that's quite amazing :)

Regarding my SU-35 setup:
This is a fairly modded Freewing SU-35S. It includes a gyro for the TV nozzles to help perform extreme hover and high alpha maneuvers (Stabilizing functions are only turned on for particular maneuvers).
As for the jet itself, the SU-35S is well known for its supermaneuverability features, that are a result of a good aerodynamic design coupled with the use of thrust vectoring nozzless.
The pilot displays a few post-stall maneuvers using the TV nozzles that would be otherwise impossible to perform with a normal jet aircraft.
