Veterans Day

We hold our veterans in reverence today. And every day.

Our freedom isn't free. Our veterans earned it for us.

I’m from a military family as is my wife in Australia but she’s originally from the US but I had family and friends who have served for the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Catering Corps, Australian and New Zealand Army Corps at Gallipoli, Italian Navy, Canadian Forces, the Royal Navy and the United States Navy, Air Force and Army we will never forget those who served

I wish more people would respect those same people, that same constitution.

On this proud Veteran's day, I literally get goosebumps listening to the Lincoln Project! I definitely salute ALL veterans today! Blessed be!

In May of 1972 I stood near that memorial during my 8th grade class trip to Washington D.C. A little less than 5 years later I marched across the parade deck at Parris Island as a United States Marine. In August of 1985 during a trip to D.C. while attending the Staff Non-Commissioned officer course in Quantico I stood before it again proudly.

Happy veterans day to all veterans, including my Dad, who served in the Korean Conflict, he's been gone 27 years and I still miss him. RIP Dad, thank you for your service all veterans. The President of the United States couldn't even show up on time at Arlington Cemetery to honor on the 11 month, the 11th Day at the 11th hour.

He does not understand or respect those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. He's the only world leader that doesn't show up when required to show just a little bit of grace and gratitude.
