After being a Dramatics fan since the 70s i feel no one and i mean no one will never capture the magic of the Lenny Mays, Ron Banks, Larry Demps, Willie Ford and L.J. Reynolds line up but my hat is tipped to Willie Ford for his effort in trying to preserve the sound but this is hard to even listen to for the sound & magic simply isn't there.Honorable mention to Wee Gee as well as Tony Hester and may all The Dramatics who have transcended always RIP

you people are unbelievable Willie can't control that the other dramatics pass on. He can't bring them back. Be glad we have a original member still living sound damn good looks good for his age still handsome like his young self. I just read this comment some of these people talking bout were the original members at. There's only 2 original member 1 replace member. The rest are gone home to glory😢 miss Lenny he was so cute sweet and always smiling lay back. And Mr. Ron was very handsome with a beautiful falsetto voice
Wee gee was very handsome with a pretty voice. Larry was a very great dancer. But to each your own we got to except that 4 original are dead. So let's give Willie a chance and still support him. After all he's a legend he been there from the beginning. I'm sure one day him and LJ will put their difference's aside and come together. Peace brother's and sisters 💗

I love the evolution of this song, and Michael Brock sang it so beautifully. Wee Gee laid the foundation, Lenny Mayes added the " think about it you in the rain, and me in the rain" to it, and LJ Reynolds also added to it. Wee Gee would be to hear what his song has become.

l have been a fan of the Dramatics since the original group with Wee Gee Howard, Ron Banks, Willie Ford. I love all of their music of which most were recorded with Howard on lead, and he was good. l loved Lenny Mayes leads and performances as well.Willie had to have had a good reason to form his own group; and from interviews I've seem of Reynolds, he was more interested in the financial part and ending the shows quickly. This new lineup have very good vocals and real soon they will be right up there at the top. They are younger, love singing, and more cohesive. l wish nothing but the best for Willie Ford and his Dramatics. lf any of you saw Ron and the Dramatics in their performance in Texas the lady said to L.J. you are an original, which he didn't correct, and you had to have seen the look of disdain on Ford's face. Reynolds even has the nerve to call Marvin Gayes' COME GET TO THIS his new song. Also, l'm glad Mrs. Bank lawyered up and saved her husband's group & legacy. The nerve of Reynolds saying that if Ron was no longer singing she could get no money. God bless you Willie Ford and your Dramatics. You have a good heart.

Of course there's nothing like the "classic" lineup with Ron; Lenny; LJ; Larry; and Willie, or the lineup which put them on the map, Wee-Gee; Ron; Elgin; Larry; and Willie, but I actually like this lineup. Willie felt the need to break away from LJ because the feeling was that LJ was assuming too much "control" over the group. Ron's widow felt the same,

I am 69yrs.old having grown up listening to the Dramatics, I'm sorry but no one can take the place of the original DRAMATIC S, with L J Reynolds and Ron Banks.
I also seen them in person. My favorite male group of all time.
