IoT Based Grid Monitoring System

In the project, real-time monitoring of Grid Station parameters based on Internet of things (IoT) is developed. The developed system will monitor and store parameters like voltage, current, power and temperature etc., in a real-time scenario. To monitor these Grid Station parameters, we have developed a data acquisition system by building an embedded system, i.e., hardware and software. The wireless local area network is used as the backbone network. The information collected from all the connected Grid Station can be monitored on a personal computer (server) to determine important parameters like current, temperature etc, and if required, appropriate action can be taken in advance to prevent unnecessary damage to the Grid station. Further, the data can also be displayed on an Android mobile device and can be stored in server database.
