ΛΙΒΥΗ | O Φαγιέζ Αλ Σάρατζ ανακάλεσε την παραίτηση του - (31.10.2020)[Eng subs]

ΛΙΒΥΗ. ΤΟΥΡΚΙΑ.
Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα σε ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, και με πληροφορίες από το ραδιοτηλεοπτικό δίκτυο Al-Hadath, ο επικεφαλής της Κυβέρνησης Εθνικής Συμφωνίας (GNA) της Λιβύης, Φαγιέζ αλ Σάρατζ, ανακοίνωσε χθες ότι αποσύρει την παραίτησή του, την οποία είχε εξαγγείλει στις 16 Σεπτεμβρίου, «για να αποφευχθεί ένα πολιτικό κενό».
Συγκεκριμένα, ο Αλ Σάρατζ δήλωσε στο Al-Hadath τα εξής:
«Αρνήθηκα να παραιτηθώ, κάτι που ήθελα να κάνω πριν τα τέλη Οκτωβρίου φέτος, ως απάντηση σε επίμονα αιτήματα τόσο από το εσωτερικό όσο και από το εξωτερικό, προκειμένου να αποφευχθεί ένα πολιτικό κενό».
Όπως αναφέρουν τα δημοσιεύματα, προηγουμένως, ο πρόεδρος του Ανώτατου Κρατικού Συμβουλίου της Λιβύης, Χαλίντ Μίσρι και η Βουλή με έδρα την Τρίπολη είχαν ζητήσει από τον Αλ Σάρατζ να αναβάλει την παραίτησή του μέχρι την εκλογή νέου Προεδρικού Συμβουλίου.
Επίσης το ίδιο είχε πράξει και ο Γερμανός υπουργός εξωτερικών Χάικο Μάας.

According to Greek media reports, and information from the Al-Hadath radio and television network, the head of the Government of the Libyan National Accord (GNA), Fayez al-Sarraj, announced yesterday that he was withdrawing his resignation, which he had announced on September 16, "in order to avoid a political vacuum".
In particular, al-Sarraj told Al-Hadath:
"I refused to resign, something I wanted to do before the end of October this year, in response to persistent demands from both inside and outside, in order to avoid a political vacuum."
Earlier, Libyan Supreme Council President Khalid Misri and the Tripoli-based parliament had asked al-Sarraj to postpone his resignation until a new presidential council was elected.
The same was done by German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
