How To Learn From Source Code | Get Out Of Tutorial Hell By Learning From Open Source Projects

If you can learn how to code well from the code itself (which takes a lot of practice and effort), then you can rely much less of tutorials and teachers. Those things are nice but sometimes the tutorials and teachers either suck or don't exist in the topics you are learning.

I do these livestreams almost every Sunday; come hang out some time.

It's a good idea but at the same time when you are at a beginner or intermediate level things could get overwhelming but for someone who enjoys learning while building this could be really fun.

Hi, thanks for the intro. I am totally new to Open Source, I like to contribute some modern c++ work, this is mostly to enhance my modern c++ as well and be part of a c++ community, prefer embedded level application. Can you suggest some OS projects to get started on? I have vm/ubuntu setup . Thanks.

The easiest way to learn is to see example, learn teory, do much practice. I'm also sometimes feel like "damn, that code is simple but i can not understand that at all, and there is no other information or tutorials, what should i do"
