Homeworld 3 - Gamescom Early Access

Homeworld 3 is coming in February 2024. Thanks to the lovely folks at Gearbox for sponsoring this video and inviting me to Gamescom 2023 where I got early access! I tried out the brand new War Games mode with @Ep3o and got to speak to the Games Director.

Lets dive in and find out what is going on in Homeworld 3!

1st mod needed: REMOVE SHIP CLASS HARD LIMITS and replace them with crew/officer supply limits so you can make focused fleets instead of being forced to use ship classes you don't want to use.

I encourage everyone that love Homeworld or nrw comer to also play Homeworld: Desert of Kharak. It was superb prequel. Builds alot of HW1 backstory, and teach alot about the dame mechanics in mostly 2D battle plane

I am fully prepared to spend as much as they charge to get this when it comes out, homeworld is an amazing series and I was so exited to hear it was getting a 3rd game

I just hope they have normal rts mode like the previous HW. 16 player matchs were so fun.

The way Imogen S'Jet flinches and reacts in maneuvers is almost how Synaesthesia feels

This is a very nice look at Homeworld 3, and the new Rogue like gamemode looks very cool. Now I have to pull some friends in to play it.

I just don't have faith in Relic anymore. Homeworld 1, Dawn of War 1 and Company of Heroes 1 were masterpieces. Then they just made every game worse and worse with each new release.
Edit: I just noticed Relic isnt making this. Hmm...

Explosions and debrees of the exploded ships and fleets are awful btw. For the rest it seem a very nice game
