If memory serves me right the Foundation didn't actually reveal themselves in this canon because the O5 council decided that immortality is the new normal and so they shouldn't bother trying to reverse everything. Of course that's not the actual reason why they don't reveal themselves but I don't want to spoil it, honestly I'd just highly recommend reading the canon.
