My issue is they won't do their warranty work. I have been without a system for over 2 years now. The company Green Home Systems refuses to honor their warranty, won't return my phone calls or emails...it is like I just don't exist. Suing them is not really an option because they don't have any brick and mortar here in Texas, so even if I do get an win in court there is no way to collect. I have contacted many lawyers from California to Nevada where the contract was originated without luck. So I sit with a $50, 000.00 roof ornament.

Minnesota isn't in a great location for solar to begin with

You should probably understand how solar works befor buying a system and counting on a tax credit.

Curious to know which company or companies in particular are being sued here.

I almost got into such a contract, but reading the fine print made me realize how they had covered themselves for everything while I stood to gain very little.
It would not surprise me if their contracts had such fine print as well.

Not enough solar in MN to generate a sun tan.

Utility-scale solar is beating the pants off coal and getting as cheap as natural gas now as well. Rooftop solar is another thing. It still needs subsidies to have a reasonable payback period.

dude... is simple math and cost about 40 bucks to do a proof of concept.

this is more a reflection of a lack of scientific education and lack of regulation than anything else.

but yeah... Go sue and I wish you guys luck. just baffling how you didn't connect a $40 panel to a metre and do the math yourself.

Once I see the scuzbucket lawyer you hired, standing behind you for TV exposure, you paint yourself as scuz too.
