It's crazy that they even have a umpire, line men and ball boys! Keep it up, Felix.

Reese was a solid college player at UNCW. Learning to fight through the heat, especially for an Englishman, is always challenging. Here in North Carolina, we spend 4-5 months playing in high humidity and ninety-degree temps, so we learn to fight through it.

I think the physicality is definitely there. When the ball gets slower and less dynamic, as in the Round 3 Qualifier, it's important to focus on extending rallies with the emphasis of moving the guy all over the court on the other side. Furthermore, you're right that slower and less dynamic tennis balls reduce the effectiveness of offensive weapons though that ball can also help bolster your defensive weapons. As I've been watching, the biggest defensive weapon you've got is your speed, so with that slower ball, any effort Reece could do to try and go flatter and harder and hit clean winners though he would fail to finish the point a larger percentage of the time because of your speed. Once you find the red zone via moving him around the court, you can hit into it, though expect it to take at least a few shots to finish the point. With this tactic, the opponent will get very tired and then the match is right on a silver platter...

Dunlop balls are notorious for fluffing up. They keep their bounce for a while, but are super fluffy at the end of a hitting session. Wilson US Open balls are the absolute best.

Glad to see improvement, Felix! Keep growing your iq of the game and develop that intention to your shots. Remember anyone can beat anyone in a baseline game, but when serves and volleys are in play, you can see the difference between maybe the 1000th vs 100th ranked players. Develop that iq of knowing when to come to the net, when to be assertive and when to be defensive, and your game will skyrocket. You've got all the physical tools to be great, so there's not much concern there, but really studying the game of tennis is what will put you on top in the end

Tough match Felix.
One thing you may really have to consider is establishing a training base in an area where the weather is hot almost year round, so you can improve that side of your conditioning, and where you can find LOTS of high level players locally to train with, as well as prize money open level tournaments to keep getting good matches and possibly available hitting partner gigs to supplement your income.
My vote would be South Florida: Boca Raton, West Palm Beach- east Coast; Bradenton- West Coast.
