It's a big step up for graduated members to comeback even if it's just a cameo. What Cover and Amelia are trying to do is this one

"She wanted to do it for a long time" that explains a lot. Amelia Watson joined Hololive expecting a short fun ride, but ended up being one of the pillars of the entire English Vtubing Industry, so after four years she obviously wants to retire.

Kiara did mention that Ame looked the happiest when talking about producing things whether it be her VR tech knowledge saving Myth during covid, running new projects, or the chiku taku rhythm game. She also has a 3D VR studio(either upgrading or a new one, since she told us she was buying lighting) that was made because HoloJP studio is too far for HoloEN members, and it's always fully booked even if you could get there, so she's alleviating some that by providing a second studio. She also helped fix issues for other EN members while she herself was streaming during 3D collabs, and even taught the new manager filling in where A-chan left how it works and how to fix things. With all that in mind, I guess she enjoys production more than streaming now, and the whole "affiliate but not staff" could be Hololive contracting her for her studio and sometimes even featuring her as Ame again during some streams. We'll have to wait and see for sure though.

Finally a graduation on her own terms without controversies and drama. The only controversy is that smol ame refuse to die and kept escaping from Ame's void prison.

Kson has become Holofans' therapist on the topic of "How to cope with your Oshi leaving" eversince Aqua left.

Kaichou was one of the big reasons Ame joined, then they were unallowed to collab for most of the time they were together in the company. Ame did get her one dream collab shortly before Coco left, was trying not to be sad but couldn't hold it in. Was pretty heartbreaking, but she did "receive the AsaCoco formula" which was a nice symbolic gesture. Both these ladies left a real legacy with the company, Ame "graduating" is like another chapter of the same story coming to an end.

One of Coco's last streams with Hololive was a Meme Review with Ame. To me that stream had a sort of "passing of the torch" vibe. Coco and Ame are both weird goofballs that didn't fit as neatly into the idol side of Hololive but we're super beloved nonetheless. Both came up with new ideas for streams and changed vtubing in general in their own ways. They both also provided tech support to other members multiple times.

They both also happened to be my number one favorites... So seeing them both leave so early, compared to their peers at least, is very saddening to me.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ame really had gotten tired of streaming over the years. Her numerous long hiatuses showed that well enough. Ame and Gura both have been quite less active since December of 2022, Gura mostly only showing up for a stream if it's either a Collab or has merch or new outfit or something with it.

Yeah the signs were there. She only streamed about 70ish times in the last year. She's always enjoyed the behind the scenes aspects a lot, so it makes sense for her to ask if she can step away from streaming to focus on other things.

I remember ollie also said similar things, she enjoy helping her ID friends with their project, especially if it comes to creating a proposal for their project, but I hope ollie will keep being the zombie idol that we all love.

In my opinion she just tired in idol activity, like we know there always a "homework" to do in holo.

Sorry if it any misinformation about "idol activity", but they'll really busy with homework. Homework mean they do
- singing lesson
-dance lesson
-signed photocard
- recorded voice pack
-Collabing with partnership
-Partnership/sponsorship
-Anime/manga event
And many more.

It's not including their own project, Collabing with other talent, branch project (JP EN ID), hololive Annual event. etc

I love the Ameway lf doing things, im assuming Ame has some plans of returning as an indie...especially the cost of her studio, Im also wondering if Goob will join her?

A lot of people seem to have the weird idea that Ame is graduating despite the fact that she's stated multiple times that she's not, she's "stopping her streaming activities"

She's clarified that she'll still appear in events, there'll still be merch of her, she'll still make voice packs occasionally, AND she can still come back full time if cover is willing to welcome her back in. (And it'll probably be a long while before that even happens)

Ame being allowed back into Hololive is entirely dependent on what Ame does, and decides to do. So she won't have the absolute freedom that every indie does, there'll still be things that Ame needs to take into account when it comes to interacting or getting involved with "certain" parts of the vtuber community. But regardless we'll have to trust Ame and support her till the end, inside and out of Hololive with the hopes that one day she'll still be welcomed back into Holo for the day that she's finished doing her goals outside her detective outfit.

I never thought anyone would have as much of an influence on hololive as the dragon did but Ame might’ve proved me wrong. The dragon created HoloEN and Ame, alongside her genmates of course, made sure it succeeded.

Ame dont want fame. She just want to entertain the viewers and make them laugh and smile. She also helps alot of artist like for example Walfie. Walfie also crested smol Ame

Like celebrity industry, Vtubers are making their own system. I hope starting Ame, there is going to be more flexible work environment on talents like making them rest or make a paid leave as they pursue other industry or tasks but doing Streaming as main job.
