My ex and I started dating when we were 12-13. This was our song. We broke up and got back together years later. It was our song as well as many other Staind songs. We broke up after our relationship became toxic in our early 20s. We had a beautiful child together. I had to move states away bc he changed for the worst. I always missed him and didn't date for 9 years hoping he would change and come for us. During that time I'd break down anytime I heard this song.... Last year he was shot and killed. The next day I heard Stainds new song. It made me cry my eyes out!!! I've not heard it since. I know it was him talking to me through song. Miss you A.H. I wish things could have been different. I still love you so much. 💔
