Neeraj Chopra's mother, Saroj Devi, expressed joy and praise for Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, who won a gold medal in the men's javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics. Devi referred to Nadeem as "hamara ladka" and praised his hard work. Nadeem broke the Olympic record with a 92.97m throw in his second attempt, making it difficult for Chopra to beat. "Aaj Arshad ka din tha (Today was Arshad's day). I gave my best, but there are areas that need improvement," Neeraj Chopra said.
