If you're looking to buy a car with many of the benefits of an electric car, but with the confidence of a petrol engine, then maybe a PHEV is a good option for you. A great example is the BYD Seal U which can have an electric range of over 100km in some variants.

BYD have burst onto the scene in the last 18 months and made a huge dent having registered over 2,000 cars on Irish roads so far!

Honestly bud, just showing the viewers which side the battery charger is on was big for me. So many reviewers overlook this especially if the home charging cable are short. Great review man.

How did you find the steering and general ride? I've heard some mixed feelings about the steering being too light and disconnected

I think it’s a great value for money unless you go for the awd version of it then the choice between BYD, Kia sportage phev, Toyota rav4 phev becomes a struggle as all of them are in the range of 50-54k€. 😅
