This really worked for my iPad gen 6. Thanks a lot for the video!!
I used a dryer for about 20-30 sec and after pressing the ON button, was happy to see the apple logo again !! The iPad was showing up as fully charged...but seems the battery needs to be changed as it has lost capacity and can again go into deep discharge mode. This method atleast gives you some breather to retrieve any data and back up .
