Equation of a Plane Parallel to a Given Plane and Containing a Point

Given a point and a plane in the space, how do we find an equation of a plane passing through that given point and parallel to that given plane?

In general, when we want to find an equation of a plane, we need to know a point lying in the plane, and the normal vector of the plane (which is perpendicular to the plane). We already have a point, all we need is the vector normal to the plane.

Let's recall that two planes are parallel if their normal vectors are parallel. So, finding the normal vector should now be easy 😉
