Here is a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda that I built from the older Revell Monogram 1971 Cuda kit in 1:24 scale. This was done with and old resin trans kit from MPB detail products.

Great build love the color combination I'm 62 and from Detroit and remember these cars from my childhood. They left a everlasting impression on me to this day.

I look forward to your Saturday reveal and as always it's a beauty. The research that you do and sharing it with us is also something I enjoy and appreciate. I turned 16 is 1973 so I was fortunate to live in the era of these muscle cars. Again, Thank You.

You did a great job Raoul building your '70 426 Hemi 'Cuda Coupe and you must have a heck of a Mopar model car collection! Thanks for posting yet another excellent video too!

I noticed the backwards shifter before you mentioned it... but I didn't want to be 'that guy' and call you out on it. I guess you could say shift happens.
Thanks for fixing it and thanks for sharing.

Nice! I prefer the not overly polished model video. Your builds/techniques are cool to see (I’ll bet why most come here to watch), plus provide inspiration. Another modeler, Max’s Models, includes his bloopers (hilarious). Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Dog-gone-it Raoul! I thought I finally got you! Then right before the end, you fixed it! Great job on this one. I am sure you were thrilled with it when you finished it all those years ago. I know I would have been. Heck, I would be happy today for that matter. Well, as long I had gotten the shifter in the right way around.

Very nice build.
One of the reasons (I heard) for the high price of the HEMI was all the other aspects that needed to be done to the car. Additional frame work (torque boxes), underhood mods, suspension.

Despite the flaws you pointed out, it's still a nice build.

I've got a '71 Revell kit of the Barracuda. Have not seen a '70, although back in the day of the 1:1's I really preferred the '70.
Hope Revell re-releases the '70 sometime soon.

I have a great tip about putty. Never worry about shrinking again. I'll gaur-un-tee it!
