Happy growing! Thanks for your lovely videos. Hope the straw works for you...have just seen a tip from an RHS master grower who uses cheap, All Bran cereal around delicate, slug-magnet, plants. If it is dry bran, the slugs apparently don't like to travel over it... it doesn't work if it gets wet (eg after rain), but I wonder if it would work under straw? I'm going to keep a bit in the greenhouse to test it out on my seedlings 😉🐌🙏

I am interested in trying this method this season for Dahlias and other flowers. Last year I used the netting and was not a fan. I am curious ....when it comes to clean up at the end of the season....do you just cut all the twine and dispose of it?
