Most of us believe that we need to rewrite our textbooks (for school, university and to improve general knowledge) from the beginning of our universe.
We cannot explain the universe with (astro)physics and laboratory experiments (CERN) alone, there are simply too many unknown factors that we do not understand, as we also lack the deep insights into these extreme expanses of the universe.
Our current cosmos probably has no real beginning or end either, as it renews itself from one universe generation to the next after the end of its cycles of existence (predecessor universe - current universe - successor universe, etc.).
But even here, with these new ideas and theories, we still lack the deep insights of a particularly advanced space telescope that can look back over 15 to 20 billion years.
Here we simply have to be patient until all of this becomes reality one day... 📡🔭

Ok. Instead of obsessing over gravity, try defining it’s cause. Gravity, expansion, the cosmic web, and the void space are all residing in the vacuum of space. That vacuum holds energy. More vacuum is these voids, less vacuum is called the cosmic web. The vacuum, or vacant space, or void space or lambda regions, whatever they’re called; voids expand quicker than the webs do. These lambda areas aren’t uniform in volume or shape so variability between measurements would be the norm, and not strange at all.
