X-Cell vs Magic Gem Review-#1, 2nd review coming shortly

SECOND REVIEW COMING SHORTLY! I'VE DONE A REFRESH TO THE MAGIC GEM TO BETTER COMPARE IT TO THE X-CELL.
In this review I compare X- CELL box surface to my Magic Gem at 2000 Abralon surface that I have had for approx. 8 months. I found the balls to be similar however for me the X-CELL seemed to hook a little more with even predictable roll. The Magic Gem seemed a bit cleaner with more change of direction down lane. Let me just say both balls look really great!

Are you sure the Magic Gem is a ball down from the Xcell? The magic has a way stronger cover and has more traction in the oil. The Xcell should be cleaner but with more shape down lane vs the magic. Magic really should be your first ball out of the bag since you can play straighter and Xcell the ball down since it's cleaner and you can get more left. No? Also, the box surfaces are not always the same even though they both are supposed to be at 2k.

Thanks for the feedback. I look forward to comparing them more. Both balls had fresh 2000 Abralon on my ball spinner at start of review shots. They are simular in layouts as well. I definitely felt the Magic Gem got down the to to lane cleaner with more backend. Planning a practice session in a different center Thursday will for sure give them another look. Thank you

Awesome review love the xcell hits hard

I drilled an Xcell and it's definitely cleaner and more responsive than the Magic Gem. Magic Gem is earlier and smoother and more of a traction ball whereas the X is strong but cleaner (continuous type ball) with more shape on the backend. Xcell definitely a step down from the Gem even with same surface prep and layout. Magic Gem is stronger than Eternity Pi which is slightly stronger than Xcell.
