#tutankhamun #ancientegypt #pyramidsofgiza #Tutankhamunstreasures A boy who rose to the throne to become a Pharaoh just at the age of 9 and died mysteriously after 10 years! The fascinating discovery of king Tutankhamun's tomb has brought great information for those trying to understand the way of life of the Ancient Egyptians.
King Tutankhamun famously known as King Tut (and formerly Tutankhamen) ruled Egypt as pharaoh for 10 years until his death at age 19, around 1324 B.C. and the treasures uncovered in his tomb made him the most famous mummy and Pharaoh in the world.
Ruling for just a few years, Tutankhamun was one of the lesser-known pharaohs of his time, which probably led to him being buried in a very small tomb compared to all the other Pharaohs. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise because this ensured that his tomb was protected from the thieves who entered the other tombs and looted them in their entirety. Although Tutankhamun's tomb shows signs of having been penetrated and briefly plundered, the location of his burial though was clearly forgotten by 1190–1075 BCE, when craftsmen assigned to work on the nearby tomb of Ramses VI built temporary stone shelters directly over its entrance. The tomb was preserved until a systematic search of the Valley of the Kings by the English archaeologist Howard Carter revealed its location in 1922.
Historians didn't know much about King Tut until then, when Howard Carter uncovered King Tut's tomb in Egypt's Valley of the Kings after years of searching in vain.
Despite the unearthing of King Tutankhamun's mummy, a lot is yet to be understood because many details of his reign remain lost to time, and historians have spent years trying to put the pieces together about the pharaoh's life and legacy.
Archaeologists aren't really sure about what happened that killed King Tutankhamun at a very young age because of the many thrilling mysteries surrounding the young Egyptian Pharaoh and the different theories trying to solve them.
There are no significant records from the period of King Tutankhamun's rule detailing exactly what happened, so we may never know the whole truth about King Tut's death, but some theories in the video prove to have some weight that can't be ignored.

Yes, Tutankhamun's father is Pharaoh Akhenaten and his mother is the younger lady. Pharaoh Tutankhamun died early because of medical conditions because of inbreeding. This is true, that King Tut died quite young and unexpected. Also, Pharaoh Akhenaten was not thought of well by the Egyptians. There was a sort of war between the clerics and the royals. Pharaoh Akhenaten by an observation of one G-d was lessening the power of the clerics who held too much power at that time. So the Clerics killed Akhenaten. They also brought back the traditional worship of a myriad of G-ds after Pharaoh Akhenaten.

Thank you for this video. There is a mispronunciation of names, , but I understand why.... When information is researched you don't always know how to pronounce what you read. When information is given in a lecture you say what you heard. This speaker has been reading....

I believe that the ostrich fan is laid by the King because he had gangrene which would give him a high fever

Pronunciation of these royal names is rather bad. However, you are not as bad as Zahi Hawass who sounds like he is gobbing while saying Tutankhamen.
