Starlink is still super slow, I was at Yellowstone and the Park Rangers use it because nothing works. It's nice but it definitely not the speed of anything useful yet.
I just download offline maps and use GPS which works everywhere.

Starlink is still currently only affordable for rich people going on vacation that cant live without their precious internet. Its practically useless for people off the grid or in 3rd world countries because its 150 dollars a month. Costs more than xfinity gigabit internet in your home and more than a tmobile unlimited data cell phone plan.

you can literally buy an ATT mobley for 20 dollars a month, it’s been doing this for years. it does have lower speeds, but for the price to internet speed ratio it’s definitely a better deal. additionally, you can actually use it while moving/driving. the one real disadvantage is i’m 99% sure starlink has more satellites which means less likely to lose internet, and ATT might not even use satellites for the mobley.
