I love my 189! Got it for free from a relative so it's definiety worth it's price lol. I use it all the time! Perfect set of features for almost any task I have!

This, and other videos about the 189, inspired me to look for one. I’m about to pull the trigger on an 189 that looks mint from a specialized reseller. But now I’m second guessing if a 23ish y/o dmm would be a good choice as daily driver for a starting audio electronics repair business. Would love to hear your opinion.

Hello, I have a question, I would like to know if the 189 has the same PTC protection that the 87V has for incorrect measurements with voltage in the resistance function?
