The doctrine of the Trinity teaches that God is three in “person” but one in “essence.” From one of our live events, Sinclair Ferguson explains why the church developed these words in order to speak carefully about our transcendent God.

*Isaiah 55:8-9*

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, ” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Job 36:26
How great is God-- beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out.

He did not define what it means that God is three persons. He only discussed relational incomprehensibility with God.

With respect, this explanation speaks nothing to the title of the video.

2:42 - 3:05 the incomprehensible God we know Him but not how He knows Himself. This does not substantiate a doctrine of 3 co equal, eternal, and substantial persons that are 1 Being. Instead the language used to describe God as Him alone that this gentlemen uses he conflates the persons with the being which are stated to be different.

" For of Him and through Him, and to Him, are all things, to whom be glory forever." Romans 11: 33-36✝️

Always the answer
We can't even comprehend
each other
And we want to think we can explain
The Almighty, the Trinity
We simply accept what he has revealed about himself
Go our way
Little teeny tiny bits of clay

They talk about who God is but never give Scripture verses to prove what they so confidently confirm.

Holy Scriptures would want us to know that God exists in 3 persons
At the baptism of Jesus
The Father spoke from heaven,
The Son was being baptized and the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove.
Mark I: 7-11✝️

This is the revelation of the Almighty

We are not asked to explain God
We simply accept revealed truth

Amen

Really listening to this segment, I have been married for 34 years and I still don't know my husband because we change through I can also say this about myself. I have a foundation of who I am but time goes on and through my years, I learn & grow therefore I can't even comprehend who I am EXCEPT for my knowledge of knowing "Whose I am".
I hope someone else understands what I'm trying to say....🥴

but never should we fall from the belief by which it is most clearly proclaimed that this being alone is truly God and father.

So, who coined the word trinitas or trinity and who formulated the doctrine of the trinity?

Is Jesus the mystery, the revelation and glory of God or is it the trinity?

I have a paper to write about this, I really like this explanation but would anyone be willing to share what they think is a weakness within this view?

Did you forget that the other essential Trinitarian doctrine is that God "became" or "took" on another essence, another being. Claiming that God is "one being" eliminates the humanity of Jesus.
Also, the Trinitarian doctrine is that THEY are one being. Three persons are "they", not "he.

Brothers and sisters: If you limit God to a simple Trinity, you don’t know who God is; nor do you understand or believe in his plan of salvation. Seriously, what was the purpose of the resurrection of the body? This is the joyful hope we are all supposed to believe in. The Father is creating ONE God family so that we can rule with him in the kingdom to come (Rev.5:10). The Bible is very clear, the Father and the Son are the only members of the godhead for now (go back and read Hebrews 2)

Jesus Christ is the only author and finisher of my faith and I believe in God and not men, so I’m going to take Jesus’ word for it as he explained it simply using his own words in John 17:3 who the Godhead is for it is written:

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3)

Now, where do you see the 3rd person of the Trinity in this statement of fact made by Christ himself? Nowhere! Jesus just finished talking about the Holy Spirit in John Chapter 16. How did he forget to include the Holy Spirit in that sentence if the Holy Spirit was part of the Godhead? He didn’t because the Trinity was invented by men and nonsense asserted by this statement Christ made himself. In this verse, Jesus himself tells us the Trinity is a lie! Jesus said it, why would anyone believe anything else than what Jesus said?

The question is, are you willing to unlearn the lies and accept the truth by the very words of Christ? Or will you continue to be lost and deceived in believing the non-existent fairytales and teachings of men?

Simple rule: If Jesus didn't say it, don't believe it! Period!

But some people want more proof…..here you go in the words of Christ:

Jesus said for it is written:

“You heard me say to you, ‘I am leaving, but I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father; for HE IS GREATER THAN I.” (John 14:28)

"Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to MY GOD and YOUR GOD.’” (John 20:17)

Did you catch has a GOD, his Father! They are separate beings just as outlined in John 1:1. Jesus by his very words tells US he has a God as it is written:

“I will make those who are victorious pillars in the temple of MY GOD, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD, the new Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from MY GOD. I will also write on them my new name.” (Revelation 3:12)

Let's take that a step further for it is written:

"The Lord MY GOD will come, bringing ALL THE ANGELS with him." (Zech. 14:5)

"Then the Lord will be king over all the earth; everyone will WORSHIP HIM AS GOD and know him BY THE SAME NAME.' (Zech. 14:9)

The humanly devised Trinity is false pagan god according to Jesus Christ and scripture!

Jesus and the scriptures tell us exactly who the Holy Spirit is several times in the Bible, yet many don’t see it and it is written more than once for example: Jesus said for it is written:

“You know about Jesus of Nazareth and how God POURED OUT ON HIM the Holy Spirit and power. He went everywhere, doing good and healing all who were under the power of the Devil, for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38)

“The SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, ” (Luke 4:18)

These statement are going to totally corroborate Jesus’ next statement of fact and prove without a shadow of doubt who and what the Holy Spirit is for it is written:

“And he said to them, “I am telling you the truth: you will see heaven open and God's ANGELS GOING UP and COMING DOWN on the Son of Man.” (John 1:51)

What did Jesus say was upon him: the ANGELS, the Spirit of the Lord. The very next chapter begins the first miracle Jesus performs in Cana and all the miracles that subsequently occurred thereafter.

Again, in Jesus’ very words he also said this for it is written:

“See that you don't despise any of these little ones. THEIR ANGELS in heaven, I tell you, are always in the presence of my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)

Jesus uses the possessive pronoun THEIR as sign of ownership for all who believe in the one who sent him. Christ sent God's Spirit (the holy angel/spirit assigned to each of those who are to receive salvation) once he ascended and returned to his Father (John 7:39).

It is made very plain and simple by the very words of Christ without having to twist or change anything to support the false doctrine of the Trinity. Angels are NOT to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9) so say the very hosts of heaven/angels themselves.

Hebrews 1 tells us outright the difference between Jesus and the Holy Spirt for it is written:

"What are the ANGELS, then? They are SPIRITS who serve God and are SENT by him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE salvation." (Hebrews 1:14)

Again, very clear. There is our HELPER. Jesus said no messenger is greater than the one who sends him (John 13:16). The holy angels who were in the presence of God (Matt. 18:10) were sent by Christ (John 7:39). Are the holy angels/hosts God? No, they are of God. Christ said it himself that the Holy Spirit doesn't “speak on his own authority” and “reveals the truth about God” NOT is God. The Spirit will “show you the things to come” (John 16:13)

“This book is the record of the events that Jesus Christ revealed. God gave him this revelation in order to show to his servants what must happen very soon. Christ MADE THESE THINGS KNOWN to his servant John by SENDING HIS ANGEL to him, ” (Rev. 1:1)

The doctrine of the Trinity is NOT biblical, its pagan and pre dates Christ. The bible clearly doesn't teach something that isn’t there! Those who believe that the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead are sadly deceived. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the Holy Spirit, but it is not part the Godhead stated by the very words of Christ himself. Isn’t Christ the one who you are supposed to believe in?

The apostle Paul also points out this fact. For it is written:

“yet there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7)

Go to ALL the epistles of Paul. In his greeting, Paul acknowledges God the Father and Jesus Christ. Nowhere does he acknowledge the Holy Spirit in any of his greetings. Nowhere!

The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false Trinity doctrine as well for it is written:

“We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God—in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21)

“and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)

Seek the truth and unlearn the lies!

Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!
