Long live Hungary! (This is Hungarian military march, Francis II Rákóczi was a Hungarian nobleman and leader of the Hungarian uprising against the Habsburgs in 1703-11 as the prince of the Estates Confederated for Liberty of the Kingdom of Hungary. He was also Prince of Transylvania, an Imperial Prince, and a member of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Today he is considered a national hero in Hungary.)

What I see that he (Karajan) turned a march into a piece of art. I am from Hungary BTW

This is the scale it's originally meant to be played in. Every other version is just slightly too slow.

The first bars are reminiscent of the Japanese army Drawn Sword march...would not be surprising, as the Meiji Era Japanese liked to imitate European music...

Isn't this Marche Hongroise, the opening piece at the 1994 LA 3 Tenors concert, in front of Sinatra and others? Except of course Mehta was conducting on that occasion.

please synchronise sound and video. At least make the sound come after the video instead of before.
