Hollow Knight - How to Make Fragile Charms Unbreakable

The Leg Eater is an NPC that will sell Fragile Charms in the Fungal Wastes. These charms are super useful (especially the fragile strength). The only problem is that if you die with one of the fragile charms equipped, the charm will break and you have to go all the way back to the Leg Eater to repair the charm which costs Geo.

This video will show you how to make the fragile charms unbreakable in Hollow Knight.

Requirement:
Have the dream nail
Dream nail will require vengeful spirit, shade cloak, mantis claw and the desolate dive or lumafly lantern.

For anyone who has fragile charms be careful, if you are gonna banish Grimm make sure all your charms have been made unbreakable before you do so. If you banish Grimm and you still have fragile charms, they stay fragile and you can no longer make them unbreakable because devine will be gone. I made that mistake by banning grimm to early and was left with useless charms and too much geo.

So glad this is here! Until recently, I didn't know you could upgrade these to be unbreakable, so I just never used the charms because I was afraid they would permanently break. I die a lot and this game is so punishing that I thought that was what would happen, lol. Thanks!!!

Theres a shortcut to howling cliffs right at the start. go to where you spawn then go to the left then above the geo use mantis claw and dash to go up into the howling cliffs. This is how I first discovered them

Extra tip, if anyone still needs it (and doesn't wanna suffer througg the trial of the fool lol): a good place to farm geo is the failed tramway. With the greed charm, if you wait for the carver hatchers to spawn all 5 dirtcarvers you can get 552 geo per run ^-^
