4:55 - 7:45 is so beautiful. Trey's rhythm, Mike's groove, Fish's pocket, and Page takes lead. Doesnt get much better in terms of blissful improvised music.

I can only hope the younger generation can experience this and not get list in all of the mindless so called music and musicians. Phish are definitely gifted musicians. Very very few of them in our short time on this planet. Luckily we have been alive to see gd and Phish. I am truly thankful to have been alive during their time.

Trey, Jerry, Frank Z., where would we be without them? Speaking for myself of course. Just so glad that I was a glide and have been honored to see them all many many times.

Very glad we’ve still got Trey. Jer and Frank will see him eventually!

Ooops. Jimi too. Yeah. Pardons Jimi. My memory isn’t what it used to be.

This is the type of jam that doesn't really click till like the 8th listen, cause there's so much happening it can be a bit overwhelming

as far as EPIC HOLY GRAIL JAMS of the last few years(PRE-BAKERS DOZEN), Randall's Chalkdust, Tahoe Tweezer, Mann Twist, ATL Kill Devil Falls, Magna Tweezer>Caspian, Dick's Simple(2014), Chicago Simple(2017), Philly Fuego(2014), Magna Bathtub Gin, Vegas Golden Age(2016), No Men's>AuldLangSyne>Blaze On(NYE 2015), Dick's Light(2012), Dick's Sand(2012) - there's several more, but that's a great list to start with BEFORE diving into the plethora of INCREDIBLE jams contained in The Baker's Dozen(my favorite out of the whole run is either the sublime 30min Moma>Breath&Burning or the absolutely astonishing Golden Age>Leaves>Swept Away>Steep Jam, with Crosseyed, Lawn Boy, Chalkdust, and Drowned>A Song I Heard getting honorable mentions

This might be the best jam I've been present for since Big Cypress. The boys were locked in that night.

By far the best Phish concert I have ever been to, the free style jam session they had in the second set was just blowing my mind.

How cool would it be to have the band record a "commentary track"?  Would love to get their perspective on the various directions they took the jam.

This is pure Phish! Well into their third decade as a band it's good to know they aren't resting on laurels, like some touring novelty act and are in fact, creating, experimenting and reinvigorating a fanbase that can't get enough of moments of musical communication like this. This CDT stands alone, but align it with the LIGHT > TWEEZER that follows and you have the holy trinity of Randalls Island!

I just relived 7/11/2000 Deer Creek which I was at and there is definitely something to be said for youth.

This is a great jam!   Travels all over the place... tonal, atonal, major, minor, features all kinds of textures and playing from all members.   Every ingredient for a great Phish exploration.

noticed some Page teases of "Manteca" between 20 and 21 minutes too..

All virtuoso musicians, Phish is an institution like The Beatles, to be enjoyed by generation after generation.
