I believe no cameras or radios should be able to log off by cops. Period. One cop logged off went in the back seat YES he did. A girl offered services and he accepted. But forgot you cant open the door from inside the back. He had to radio another cop to let him out.

It should be against the law for an officer to log off at any time during his workday once they log in and those cameras are on they should not be allowed to shut them off until they're off the only reason you would log off is because you don't want your Communications heard that is not transparency and that is the exact reason why these cameras are put on you in the first place so the public can monitor what you are doing and if you were following the law😡

Body cams and radio should be against department policy to turn off unless you do so to not bring attention to an officer in a situation where he/she needs to be concealed from attracting gun fire. Anything that makes noise during that time should be silenced not necessarily OFF!
