Dorsett's 99 yard run, the 1980 Divisional Game win against Atlanta (big comeback), the 1972 Divisional win against San Francisco (another big comeback) and their first NFC Championship win in 1971 against San Francisco, 17-10. All were bigger than the 2014 Wildcard game against Detroit.

Terrific job. It's difficult to compare eras, but considering how each of the top 5 Cowboys teams performed in their particular era, I would rank them...

1) 1992 Cowboys
2) 1977 Cowboys
3) 1993 Cowboys
4) 1971 Cowboys
5) 1995 Cowboys

It's safe to say that all 5 of those teams belong in the Top 25 NFL teams of all-time, the 1977 Cowboys belonging in the Top 10, and the 1992 Cowboys being in the discussion as THE greatest team in NFL history.

I like the fact you put Romo in there he deserved it. So many late clutch wins but he had no secondary or a complete defense to make it to the big game. Case in point the legendary Bronco game. When you pass for 5 touchdowns and still can’t win regardless of late game mishap is pretty frustrating. Romo is the human highlight reel

My opinion, The day Jimmy Johnson made the biggest poker game bluff of all time when he worked over Mike Lynn cutting all the players he received from the Herschel Walker deal and getting all those draft picks in return to lead the Cowboys to the Super Bowl team that dominated while he was at the helm. Also keeping a secret that he would not keep any of the players from the Vikings. EPIC! Cowboys haven't been the same since

This list was done by a young person. No Dorsett 99 yard run, no 1972 playoff game against SF where we came back from 15 down in the 4th quarter, no 1980 playoff comeback against Atlanta. And the Hail Mary should have been #1.
