So right now the best work around is after each mission you do go all the way back to the Title screen and it will save but DO NOT do multiple missions in a row because if it crashes you will lose everyhting and literally start from new file. Again happened to ME TWICE!! Hopefully @teamwasobi patches this sooon. Other than that. GOTY

so how wide spread is this problem? from a technical standpoint i haven't noticed a single hiccup and i was playing the game for atleast 5hours straight.

Started playing yesterday and there were two patches that have downloaded since then. Running smooth no problems.

At one point I had to restart my PS5 and it deleted my entire save of Astro’s Playroom but that was on me so I don’t mind restarting that adventure, hopefully it’ll be enough time so that Asobi team can patch the game from crashing, because if not for the crashing the game would be running beautifully. I already saw a digital foundary review and they said near flawless performance at 60 FPS from start to finish aside from one scene where it slightly dips to the high 50’s and graphically stunning as well. Sucks that this is happening to people, I’m sure Asobi is addressing this issue in due time if lots of people are getting it.

Hey I have a question because I have the hard copy I don't have the digital version is that just happening with the digital version because I'm not having any issues with the hard copy version I have?

That sucks man, happened alot to me with the mgs remaster and was annoying as hell, atlwast astro is replayable i suppose bro

I thankfully won’t be getting this game til the end of the month, and hopefully they fix this soon. Tryna save some money to settle some debts and put into savings. I’m still finishing Cyberpunk, and I may start 🗿💍 again just to scratch my souls itch. The last game I played that was buggy at first but was one of my personal GOTY choices was Jedi: Survivor.

Another issue is that the game shows Playstations history, the good and the bad, this game isn't going to shift units like Sony wants and it's been nearly 5 years since Playstation has had a massive IP launch on the PS5, a lot of people don't care about the PS5 Pro, it needs more games before they make a new version of the PS5. Even if Astro Bot is good, it still doesn't give the nearly 50% playerbase on PS4 to go and buy a PS5.
