Discrimination is a factor to which upbringing and education of a person plays a huge role, with both factors equally contributing to it, discriminating as well as keeping quiet about is a always no no, it is generally a single person/ multiple persons who makes us feel that his/her group also has the same mentality as him/her like a drop of poison can pollute the whole sea.And specially we as medical students must stand against discrimination in all forms!!!

It can be a very isolating experience for North Indians. It's not like you are discriminated badly but subtly it will happen. If youre college has some north Indians, you will have friends else its very different and difficult to mingle. Local kannadigas are friendly. There are issues, you can face it. But if you are getting college in your state, please go forward.

Sir this issue is only with North INDIAN, can you search and find any south Indian or North East Indian talking about all those issues on youtube? I couldn't find? At least 20% or more are South Indian students also study there in North Indian medical collages ? Why this issue as issue with North Indians -

Language is not a problem but your mindset is .. be agile adaptable learn the language simple. Also if you come to study or entertainment thinking about food entertainment etc ridiculous I should say .. getting medical opportunities is big in itself .. and you guys want your culture and good everywhere shows your not fit to come to south India

I don't know its right or wrong but here in delhi most south indian are treated at their best like friends only ...even i have south indian friend from my first standard and i completed school last year ..even in school teacher adored her ..then why they discriminate us

Specially in GMC Siddipet, because the administration doesn't provide hot water in bathroom even in winter when temperature is low nor they allow heater and no press iron allowed as there is no facility for the same.
The response of the Administration is very poor
