Love my hometown but I wish they’d do more for the economy to bring in high tech jobs; they rely too heavily on Fort Bragg; it has so much potential but they city needs to do better.

the city isnt great. If you drive around no matter where u go you will see junkies, homeless people, crackheads, and run down destroyed buildings. At night regardless of where you are (high income areas, low income areas) you wont feel safe going to a store, etc. High crime city, ive lived here for years, its terrible

I just don't understand how activist groups have that much pull, to be able to paint onto city streets, in different cities.

Used to be a great place. I moved to the city next over. Fayetteville has gone completely downhill since city counsel caved into BLM. They allowed the distruction of downtown, and let them paint "Black Lives Matter" painted around the roundabout even though black businesses were affected.
No one likes to go downtown anymore and it used to be such a beautiful place.
Fayetteville cleans up crime areas ONLY during elections.
