The Classical Theatre of Harlem's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Closing Night

The Classical Theatre Of Harlem is presenting Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM from Saturday, July 6 - Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 8:30pm, at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheatre in Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem, NY. This post includes photos and video from closing night.

This production of A Midsummer Night's Dream transports audiences to the height of the Harlem Renaissance, where four young lovers, a troupe of rude mechanicals, and mischievous fairies find themselves entangled in a web of romantic chaos within a mystical forest.

Ra'mya Aikens as Hermia, Hiram Delgado* as Lysander, Noah Michal as Helena, Brandon Carter* as Demetrius, Victor Williams* as Theseus / Oberon, Jesmille Darbouze as Hippolyta / Titania,  Allen Gilmore* as Peter Quince / Egeus, Mykal Kilgore* as Philostrate / Puck, León Tak as Francis Flute / Cobweb, Carson Elrod* as Tom Snout / Peaseblossom / First Fairy, Olivia London* as Snug, Second Fairy, Moth (u/s Puck), Deidre Staples as Starveling, Mustardseed. The Dance Ensemble includes Taylor Collier, who will also serve as Dance Captain, Latrea Rembert*, Tracy Dunbar*, Taylor Daniels*, Stemarciae Bain, Taylor Mackenzie Smith, Victor Lewis Jr. and Nisani Lopez . Understudies include: Olivia London* as U/S - Puck / Titania-Hippolyta, Collin McConnell as U/S - Egeus, Quince, Snug, 2nd fairy, Moth, Snout, First Fairy, Peaseblossom, Flute, Cobweb, Jaylen Eashmond as U/S - Bottom, Christopher Then* as U/S - Oberon / Theseus, Angelica Williams as U/S - Starveling, Mustardseed; Helena, Marcus Fitzpatrick as U/S - Demetrius/Lysander.
