One thing about driving with a Korean license is, from what I've been told, you need to have it for a year before you can rent cars!

These tips are gold! I would love to visit Jeju City - the south side - or the east side of the island. It’s sound like a car is the way to go! Can one get around the island in one day of the had a car?

If it wasn't for the cost of rentals I'd honestly rent a car everywhere I travel. I love that freedom. I wonder why the restaurants close so early? Oof before 9am? I'll have to set an alarm lol. I go nowhere without snacks! Do they have protein bars on the Island? Can you pay cash as a backup or is it specifically the card? How does one get to Jeju Island from Seoul?

Great tips. I would love to visit Jeju island one day. The restaurant tip is important. I always think places are open later but I’m always mistaken when restaurants close early!

Wow I didn’t think it would be that easy to obtain a Korean license but that’s good to know. How are the drivers in Korea, would you recommend driving?

The restaurants close super early.. I’m usually not eating dinner until much later and I’m used to at least fast food restaurants being open.

One day I’ll make it to Korea and will def have to check out Jeju
