Why Terence Crawford Beats Errol Spence Jr. - Crawford Breakdown

Rumors have been floating around the boxing community that negotiations for a fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence are being worked on. Before that fight becomes official I want to show you all why I think Crawford wins the fight.

I don't have a stake in the game. I appreciate both fighters equally and am a fan of both. What I see (especially lately) is that Spence lets himself get hit too often in his fights. I don't think he would fare well by letting Crawford land on him. I hope the bullshit is over now and they make this fight happen before people give up and move on! Back in the day the best fighters always got in the ring to face each other. Too much politics and posturing these days!

Have to agree. On top of his skills Crawford has a great ring IQ, typically after a few rounds he has worked out his opponent and then he goes on the attack. Some say that he's a slow starter, physically it may look that way but the brain is working overtime like he's working on the solution to a problem. LOL at the cut 'n paste from your Horn review, that was a beauty too.

Without getting to much into technicalities, I think Errol and Crawford are excellent boxers but Crawford's ability to switch styles and positions would create a lot of problems for errol. I will therefore go with Crawford.

Crawford's lateral and constant movement cones from Sugar Ray Leonard, including the outside jab to hook. The jab is a trigger to cause the opponent to throw a response and expose himself.

He's just an excellent counter-puncher. Even when he jabs its just to get opponents to engage so he can counter. Its all about beating you to the punch.

Honestly, even tho Bud has cleaned out a whole division we still haven’t seen him fight a big name like Errol. Yeah he fought Gamboa who is now a gatekeeper, but I think Spence is gonna take it because Spence is a very good counterpuncher as well. Along with he killer body shots

Nah, people sleeping on Spence. This is merely a speculation. His IQ may be high, but Spence's IQ is just as high. And, remember, those opponents are not Spence. Benavidez was a terrible analysis since Benavidez was fighting practically with one good leg, and again, these opponents are simply not Spence who brings a whole different level of skills and abilities.
